I'm Very Proud

Of my 13 year-old.

Tonight was his Christmas concert in band.

He had a solo. He'd had to try out for it and was so proud to get it and practiced lots.

He was so nervous tonight, but did great.

A Little More Progress

This time, I really think there's a chance I can get the rough draft of the first novel in my series finished by my new deadline...the end of the year. Got a few more key scenes to fill in, then I'm done with the rough draft and will butcher it to pieces.

Wrote some strange crap tonight. Guess it came from being super tired. I don't know. But, it'll have to go in the long run. It came out very abstract and not what I was going for. Still, it came with some cool images that I might be able to use for something later. :)
