I can't leave well enough alone.

I have to have a project set up to work on tomorrow. In fact, I'm having to resist the urge to work on it tonight. Isn't that pathetic? But, I must sleep. Should sleep.

I went about a million places today and was gone from home half the day. It's time for me to settle down and sleep, but I'm so jazzed and excited...and did I mention jazzed?...that I can't make my mind stop yet.

I considered going straight into the next novel, but I'm thinking I need to give this thread a rest while I let Ancient Secrets sit for a few days. Then, I'm going to cut out some stuff that I know I'm not going to use and set it aside to age while I work on something else.

So, I thought maybe I should wait until I edit it to go into the next novels, in case I decide to change things along the way.

Which led me back to what brain had told me last month. That I should take my novella, Beyond the Darkness and turn it into a novel. It's set in the same series, but takes place before Ancient Secrets and has more backstory for the characters and events that led them to where they were in Ancient Secrets.

Even though I wrote nothing on it tonight, I decided to post my first progress bar, just to get myself psyched up to work on it tomorrow.
