FIRST...

Last week, the GOOD people won the company in the court auction. We're not back to work yet, but will be either later this week or after Labor Day. (At this point, I could hang on until after Labor Day and would dearly love even more days off.) So, after 5-1/2 years of work misery, things are finally looking up on the work front. :)

SECOND...

I won! I won! I won!!! The battle with the oppressive school district, that is. After my appeal letter last week, I made two phone calls today, and I now have my son's transfer to the GOOD school district! Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!!! Tomorrow, I shall carry his transfer to the GOOD school district and get him registered. (I shall say HOORAY again!)

And...

THIRD...

Well, third hasn't happened yet. But, it'll happen later tonight, and I'm soooo EXCITED!!!

When life knocks you down, stare it in the face and get up again. Over and over until the good things start happening. Because, you know what? The good things WILL start happening...even if it takes a while. (I know this for a fact. This is NOT the first time life has insisted on knocking me on my butt.)
