Well, I was gone most of the day, so I didn't get lots done. Had to drive down to Huntington Beach to pick up my paycheck from the agency and it took over over three hours round trip.

My oldest son went with me after I picked him up from college, and we stopped for dinner on the way home. It was nice.

However, it was 106 on the way down there, and that was not nice. It was 88 in Hungtington Beach, but we didn't get to stay there for long.

I'm ready for fall and hope the temps drop again soon.

I'd like to extend CONGRATULATIONS to

bachsoprano, who's had some good news in her writing career. However, since I haven't asked whether or not I can share, I won't. (Hey, Cat, can I share???) I consider myself very luck to have the opportunity to read a novel of hers over this weekend.

I'm back to writing, after allowing myself a little time to recover from things. Made some good progress, even if it's not tons of words. Good progress. I'm pleased. :)
