I can't believe it. It's amazing.

I feel kinda bad about not being hugely productive the past few days, but I really needed NOT to be after all the OT on Monday and Tuesday.

Yesterday, the kids and I went to Macaroni Grill to celebrate the good news about work.

Today, I went out for breakfast and then the kids and I went out to dinner at Johnny Rockets (GREAT burgers) and went to see Fantastic Four at the movies. I'd seen it, but kids hadn't, and enjoyed it. Then we went to Borders. I bought a soundtrack and a couple of really pretty metal book marks. (I'm a sucker for pretty bookmarks.)

We would've gone to Coldstone Creamery for ice cream (since they have a sugar free variety), but we needed to get home to do laundry.

There's always tomorrow. I'm enjoying having days off. :)

I've read five different pieces to critique/review and need to get to work on writing them up over the next day or two.

And, back to writing tomorrow. Looking forward to that.

Tonight, I think I'm going to try to get to bed earlier and get some rest. Kitties have been waking me up too early lately.

Glad you found some time to relax......

I'm so glad to hear that you're actually relaxing... what a concept, eh?

Enjoy your downtime and do nice things for you. You most definitely deserve it, Miss J.

And I'm super glad that things at the job worked out well. I'm so glad that the nice people won and you're going to have some stability and people that appreciate your dedication and work ethic for a change.

Isn't it delicious???

They have this great sugar-free sundae-type thing that has their sugar free ice cream, peanut butter, and peanuts in it.

It's sooooo good!

I might even have another week off now.

I have to admit that, this morning, I'm feeling pretty free. It's a nice feeling. The last two days, I'd still felt kinda stressed and reined-in.

I've written some this morning and hope to get more written this evening. Have to pick up my son from college soon and then drive down to Huntington Beach, which is a long way.

Well, we've had one more kink thrown into things now, but I hope it's something they can work out quickly. :)

The problem with the past few days was that there was still some stress involed due to the school transfer, winding up a few more things for the Trustee's office (that I could do from home) and just...stuff.

However, today is really nice and I'm starting to feel kinda free. Hope I can lose some of the baggage by the time I go back to work.

Looks like the old owner has thrown another kink into things, but I hope it'll all work out soon.

Good. I'm really glad to hear it. And I hope the mess with the old owner gets fixed too. But the important thing is that the guys in the white hats now own the company, yes?
