How Did Morning Come So Fast?
Aug. 24th, 2005 06:26 amAnd why did baby Malik have to want to play before 6:00, when I could have actually slept until 6:30 for once? (It's VERY difficult to sleep through a cat pouncing various body parts no matter how hard you try to protect them.)
Grumble. Grumble. Complain. :)
I worked until almost 10:00 Monday night and until almost 11:00 last night. I go in at 7:00, so them's a lot of hours and I'm so totally wiped out that every little bit of my body aches.
So, first things's first as I enjoy my three days (five, if you count the weekend) of being a stay-at-home writer. I must rest. Massive doses of rest.
Of course, I'll probably work on some writing, reading, and critiquing in there, too, but not as much as over the next few days.
Still have the stupid school transfer problem to try to deal with too...and school starts on Monday.
No rest for the weary.
The auction for the company is today. Fingers are crossed. I hope I hear the outcome later. If things so as planned, I hear that I'm already lined up as part of a "task force" to go in on Monday afternoon and make plans for getting things back to FULL capacity within the next two weeks. :)
