This is a call to folks looking for readers of their work. If you belong to any of the groups I mentioned in my last post and have something posted you'd like another opinon on, please sing out.

Or, if you have something not posted on any group that you'd like an opinion on, speak up.

I don't promise to be the best critiquer/reviewer in the world, but I'm not too bad either. :)

I've really slacked off in the groups I belong to over the past few months because of real life and lots of writing, but I'm going to struggle over the next month to get back into the swing of things and be involved again.

I miss being involved.

Next Monday should be my last day of work...hopefully for only a week...so I'm going to allow myself four days of vacation next week before I get back to the accounting grind.

Which means, I'm going to be a stay-at-home writer for four days (plus the weekend). Woo-hoo! I'm looking forward to that.

And, for me, in addition to writing, that means reading and also reviewing and critiquing. What better ways to learn, to interact, and to spark the imagination?

Ahhhhh...sounds like the life to me.

Hmmm. Are you looking for someone to critique your stuff in return?

I haven't read any of your writing, and I'd be interested in doing so.

(So that I can steal all your ideas naturally)

Actually, right now, I'm not. I've learned the hard way NOT to get opinions on rough drafts. My rough drafts are very rough, and need polish before they're inflicted on anyone. :)

I love reading and reviewing for other people, and I don't always have the time, so I try to do LOTS of it when I know I'm going to have a little time off.

I haven't read any of your writing, and I'd be interested in doing so.

However, once I get this novel I'm working on finished and whipped into shape, I certainly would love opinions from folks brave enough to read. :)

Thanks.

Heh. I don't think I have any that other people would want. That's why, I'm writing them, don't you know. :)

I have one or two stories that I've revised since Critters that I wouldn't mind an opinion on. I'm not going to post them on Critters again, and I think they're pretty polished. I just want to be sure that I've made improvements and not made them worse. Let me know if I should send them to you somewhere. Thanks!

Well, If you would like to go through my first chapter of Revelations, I'd certainly appreciate the feedback (good or bad), and when you're ready to send me some work in return, I'd love to have a look.

I'd volunteer but I'm already inflicting my stuff on you. :(

I have one up at OWW, but it is riddled with problems.

Not enough dialogue
Characters need more depth
POV shifts
Walls of text

Yeah, it sucks right now, but I am working to make it better. :)

I like the way you say 'I'm going to allow myself four days of vacation next week before I get back to the accounting grind.'

Are you one of those people who feels guilty for taking vacations?

I am that way. I can't understand why. It is a bad disease to have.

I don't have anything right now, but I'm actually working up a new short story that I'll eventually need some feedback on. And being that I trust your opinions implicitly, I'd love to send them to you.

And I'm always available should you need anything looked at. :-)

Yes, please send it. I'd love to read.

And, thanks, I'd love to get an opinion when I'm done. :)

I'd love to read. Seriously. I love your work. Go ahead and send anything you want an opinion on.

I wanted to comment on your erotic short. I really enjoyed it. But, I was slow because of work and you'd sent it out before I got a chance.

So...send. Yes?

Oooh, yes, very guilty. Ask me the last time I had a week off. (Other than the time between when the company went under and we were called back temporarily. I was interviewing the entire time then.)

I'm a workaholic. Just since I got this job. Is there any way to stop it?

*hides*

I'm working on the characters and problems. I might repost it after I fix it. I started working on my horror novel again. I am inspired all the sudden. My muse has returned. :)
