Today was supposed to be my last day at work. Which, of course, isn't really work. It's just me and a guard and I'm putting together financial information for the Trustee.

However, because there's more information they want, I'll probably be there until at least Monday, maybe Tuesday.

That's good. Money helps.

Now, the strange thing is that, where this time last week, no one had officially expressed an interest in purchasing the company, now there are 6-7 parties interested. How complicated it's all getting!!!

The auction is next Wednesday, so we'll know the outcome then, and I'll know whether I have a job or not. The people who called us back to work and ran the company for a while are bidding, so I still have my fingers crossed they'll get it.

Last night, I was totally devoid of energy, emotion, anything. I can't believe how exhausted I was. Didn't write, didn't post in my LJ, didn't feel like doing anything but browsing Renderosity looking for inexpensive (which they usually are) Poser backgrounds and brushes for Photoshop. Can't afford anything yet, but found some things I liked.

Wrote today. Made progress. Almost (came very close) finished another plot point. I'll probably finish tomrorow. After that, only four more points to go. Fortunately, two fit together for one key plot point and two fit together for another. So, I'll pretty much be writing them hand-in-hand and that should make things that much easier.

Hooray for easier.
