Which is a wonderful thing.

I was productive today. Of course, I'm still sunburned and my arm probably glows in the dark, but I wrote, and I can't complain at all. :)

I passed 600 pages today. Whew. This sucker's going need a lot of editing!

Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if it happened sooner. Parts of my arm are already itchy...just not the brilliant, glow-in-the-dark part up by my shoulder. :)

But, holy word count! And, 600 pages! Whew! That's worth celebrating in and of itself! Go Janice go!

Just think of all the stuff I'm going to have to cut in order to get the book down to a marketable size. I know there's LOTS of tightening and cutting to be done, but I fear I might have to cut out actual plot threads to make it intentionally shorter because I hear that newcomers can't market books that are too long.

However, I'd rather have more words to work with so I can pick and choose what to mold into the final novel. :)

It was 122 when I drove up to visit my sister and 117 on Saturday while I was there. They always have an ungodly UV index and it's so easy to get burned.

y'know, dear ... your daily wordcounts scare me. I don't even have a real job to blame, and my wordcounts very, very rarely go over 3000 words.

Do you mind running through what your various WiP's are about? I gather you're writing mostly fantasy, but that's a fairly broad category.
