Over the Top
Jul. 3rd, 2005 10:21 pmWell, I passed 125,000 words today, so it's time to revise my total word count for Ancient Secrets. I think, ultimately, 125,000 will be pretty accurate because I have words to cut even though I have more to add. I just don't want to do any cutting until I have the rough draft complete and intact.
So, I think, I'm going to revise to 140,000 words. Hopefully, another 15,000 words will give me enough room to work.
Today was my daughter's 18th birthday. She went to see War of the Worlds with friends. We had sugar free cake and ice cream tonight in celebration. It was great. She had a nice day. I'm glad. :)
We've been watching Independence Day together tonight while I added to my word count for the day.
Ancient Secrets 3,213 words today
