Requesting help for baby dragons. These two have gotten low on time, and really need some attention. I haven't been posting every day because of work, so they're really low. :<

I could do this, too.

Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Futurama and The Simpsons.
The story should use brainwashing as a plot device!

I can officially pay for the repairs to my car.

You peoples are WONDERFUL! Life-savers! Miracle workers!

It could be as late as Monday before I have Terra back, due to the lead time for ordering the battery. (Takes 2-4 days for delivery.)

But, I know that I can pay to bring her home when the work is done.

How can I ever thank you?

Bless you all!!!

And I don't know quite how to do it.

It hurts. A lot.

[livejournal.com profile] fjm suggested I come to you and ask for help. She told me how many wonderful people helped her when she asked for aid for a cat.

I need help. Immediate help, but not long-term help.

I could take care of this, but it would mean at least a month without a car.

So I ask: if any of you think it a worthy cause, would you be willing to loan me money for one month?

I'm not asking that you give it to me. I will pay it ALL back.

I just need my car now and don't have the money now.

I have $850 on Thursday that I can apply toward the battery. Maybe more if I can extend some bills. They will apply the $98 diagnostics fee toward the repair.

But, that leaves me needing $2,634 still. (I tacked tax onto the battery price.)

The battery is $2,200 before tax. The labor to install it is $1,200.

Other than that, my car is perfect. She has NO other problems and they said she could last forever.

It takes 2-4 days for them to get in a battery because it's large and has to be shipped in a huge crate.

They've never seen one go bad before. This is their first time to install one.

If you can help, my Paypal address is JaniceSSmith@att.net. I don't know how to do the "donate" buttons.

If you can help, not only will I love you forever (not that I don't already), but I ask that you give me your Paypal address in return and I will pay you back in November, along with enough money to cover the fees that an incoming payment takes.

I don't know what else to do.

If you have a spare click, this dragon could use it.

Thank you.

[livejournal.com profile] manga_queen here. My eggs need some clicks for anyone who is willing to (they have a bit over a day I think). Also, my hatchlings. They just hatched, so nothing to worry about with them really.

[livejournal.com profile] manga_queen here...again.

This time, it's with one of my own dragons. It has less than a day and doesn't even have wings yet.

Thank you in advance for any clicks. I really do appreciate everyone who does. I've had so many dragons grow up because of my mom's f-list. ^^

[livejournal.com profile] manga_queen here.

My mom told me that I could post this dragon ( http://dragcave.ath.cx/viewdragon/afca ) on her LJ, because I clicked on it, and it only has .14 days left.

Thanks to anyone who clicks. ^^

And for anyone inclined to click, I'm posting my baby dragons and eggs behind a cut.

I am now the proud mommy to a paper egg. I've tried to get one for a while.

Thanks to those who click. :)

I had so much story love while writing today. Everything I wrote on Queen of the Skies (which was a sudden switch, I know) came out EXACTLY like I wanted it to. I cannot ask for more than that. It made me very, very happy.

Watched Ghostrider with [livejournal.com profile] manga_queen tonight. LOVED it. Adored it.

Watched the end of Wild Hogs...also with daughter. FUNNY. Must see the entire movie.

Um...tired...what else did I want to say?

Oh! Oh!

Thank you, thank you SO MUCH for clicking on my daughter's dragons. They all grew up and are saved from death because of you. :D

I have words...I think about 2,000 total between screenplay and novel, but I just don't think I have energy left to count them tonight. I shall count in the morning and post them with tomorrow night.

Good night, LJ!

To my oldest son...

Who have posted free fic, poetry, etc. on LJ and your websites today.

You have given those of us who have read a great gift.

Thank you for sharing.

I have two cats that love to LICK plastic bags. They're particularly fond of Barnes & Noble shopping bags.

Anyone have cats that do that?

Anyone know WHY?

What did those of you who watched The Dresden Files tonight think of the episode based on Storm Front?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I smelled the first orange blossoms of the season today...and they were HEAVENLY.

They're late this year because the cold weather lasted so long, but I think, this time, Spring is finally here.

Catching Up

It's about time I tried to get caught up on word counts again. I think mid-February was the last time I posted any.

I tried to round up what I'd written, but I don't think I found it all. Still, this is better than nothing.

Today's words are all on Angel in Waiting with a few on, uh, One Clear Voice. I think that's it.

Angel in Waiting

1,119 words today

Zokutou word meterZokutou word meter
12,955 / 100,000

One Clear Voice

1,059 words - some today

Illegal Aliens

Queen of the Skies - novel

140 words

Zokutou word meterZokutou word meter
140 / 100,000

There were some Queen of the Skies screenplay words, too, but I don't feel like saving it into .rtf and counting them. I can't count them in .scw format.

So, less than illustrious month-to date totals:

March 2007 Word Count Progress:

Zokutou word meterZokutou word meter
2,646 / 31,000

And terrible year-to-date totals:

2007 Word Count Progress:

Zokutou word meterZokutou word meter
31,119 / 600,000

However, I expect those not-so-glowing numbers to improve. I just have to work through the feeling sorry for myself for not being a better writer and then plunge ahead full-force again, knowing that the more I write, hopefully the better I get.

Working up to that. There's just this dang fear that's hard to get over, you know. The fear of sucking. The fear of what if I never get better? The fear that, why do I honestly think some of what I write is okay and why am I proud of it when others hate it? Am I blind? Am I stupid? What the heck is my problem?

Once I figure that out, I'm good to go. I just need to know WHERE to go and how/what to learn, you know?
